Final day of Burgi Dad and my 😎 😎 delightfully unexpected 3.5-Day 28th Honeymoon Road Trip/Escape. 👍 😚 One last Panhandle county to complete our Installment Plan version of the N FL Challenge Quest http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=5f62d7d3-33ba-427c-8840-fe77f91c2275 . Grabbed one last Hidden Treasure of North FL for our Lafayette County cache.

Paid our $4 so Kathi Kodak 😉 could have her way with the TBs and GeoCoins in a photo op. Saw four deer on the way in, but nary a single human until we were about the leave. North Florida Tourist Council, thanks for the excellent brochure, and for including GXing is such a special way! On with the Honeymoon Escape! 👍 😚 Have a blessed day. Happy caching ~~

We live near the Indian Mound in Phillippe Park in Safety Harbor, and own a cache there. We 😎 😎 couldn't resist the peaceful stop here at Florida's largest Indian Mound. The TBs & GeoCoins all came out for the photo op, and the Trail of Tears Moccasin TB will be leaving with us for a "long road to a new home." We'll do our best to make the journey civilized. Let's review: Burgi Dad and I 😎 😎 had just met BrassPig and Kelly 🤡 😚 at the micro in the parking lot, which we had not had on our radar at all. They enthusiastically agreed to join us for the short hike over to this cache, which they had not had on their radar. A mutual exchange of GXing intelligencia to make a Win-Win situation. Come to find out this is one of the fifty oldest caches in the state of Florida. Imagine a couple 😎 😎 on their 28th Honeymoon Escape meeting a couple 🤡 😚 who've only been dating for about a month and unexpectedly sharing a mutual hobby/obsession -👍- only in a GXing world!

Third day of Burgi Dad and my 😎 😎 delightfully unexpected 3.5-Day 28th Honeymoon Road Trip/Escape. 👍 😚 Now we only need 10 Panhandle counties to complete our Installment Plan version of the N FL Challenge Quest http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=5f62d7d3-33ba-427c-8840-fe77f91c2275 . This is our Washington county cache.

Burgi Dad and I 😎 😎 continued our early morning rendezvous from the Falling Waters cache over to here. We 😎 😎 didn't expect them to be so close together! We 😎 😎 had the falls to ourselves this early morning. Not exactly the Canadian side of Niagra Falls (we've been GXing there, too), but still romantically beautiful for those such as us honeymoon-GXers. 👍 😚 The story of the underground lake makes more sense now.

Heading back to the car, we 😎 passed a briefly chatted with Scouts from Pensacola Troop 415 who were on a boy-led compass outing (*** Please note *** As always, two thirds of Scouting spells outing!). When we both silently pointed to the Scoutmaster's GPSr, he 😈 smiled and said it was an extra safety measure in case the compass work misdirected them... Burgi Dad and I 😎 😎 had just one word to say to that: "GXer❔" Yes, you guessed it, the answer was Yes!, so after a brief chat, we 😎 😎 left him 😈 enthusiastically explaining his GXing surprise to his troop a little earlier than he had expected. 👍 Gave a GEMA stash note to one of the other Scoutmaster's for their reading pleasure as well.
