The Bragging Coin

If you are in possession of this coin congratulations on being the FTF of the cache it was placed into. All you have to do now is log the coin, please include a story as to the cache you were FTF it in or your experience in finding the cache/coin. Now hold onto the coin while you create a new cache for submission. On placing the "New" cache include this coin in it contents so it can be "retrieved" by the FTF of your new cache. Well that was the perfect riposte from Grandalf for the slagging I gave him over the previous cache. A challenge that I just could not let pass by. I had the Bragging Coin 14 mins after receiving notification of the cache - my quickest find ever.

Oh darn - I tried not to get there first. Now I'll have to dream up a new cache.

FTF Bradleys Brow, a 5 1/2 hour round trip with a 855m climb above Lyttleton harbour. This is a really worthwhile cache to do if you are fit and keen, the views are fantacstic.
The New Cache is ready to go, but the place I have in mind for it requires a camo container, so I had to bring it home again. it will be out in the next week or so

  • My next cache, where will it go? Hint, the new site is visible from Mt Bradley [:-D]

Picked this up while getting FTF on Castleview on a dark and frosty morning. The cache is very close to a large stormwater and sediment settling basin - that I had a hand in designing many years ago when I worked for the Drainage Board. So of course I knew exactly where to go when I saw the cache listing come up. So now, another new cache. Hmmmm.

This is an interesting idea. We didn't think we would be FTF - everyone must be away at the moment. It was a pleasant drive after a hospital appointment - now we have the coin we'll have to get another cache out soon.
Thanks
Sallies
