... das ist der Spaß-Doktortitel, den ich von meinen Kollegen zum Abschluss meiner Doktorarbeit bekommen habe. Er ist auch auf meinem Doktorhut zu finden. Zusätzlich zu den ganzen schönen Kleinigkeiten hing an ihm als "Bommel" auch dieser Travelbug. Passend dazu ist auf dem TB auch unser Institutslogo zu sehen.

Während meiner Promotion durfte ich viele Dienstreisen unternehmen und habe dabei viel von der Welt gesehen. Dieser Travelbug soll nun all diese Stationen noch einmal ablaufen.

... this is my fun doctoral degree, which I received from my colleagues for finishing my PhD thesis. This title is also on my doctoral cap. In addition to all the other nice accessories, this travelbug was the tassel. Of course, the logo of my institute is engraved on it.

During my time as a PhD student I was on many business trips and I saw a lot of the world. This travelbug is now to run through all these stations again.
