Dieser goldene Mjölnir soll auf den Spuren der berühmten Wikinger reisen und dabei so viele ihrer Wirkungsstätten wie möglich besuchen.

Ich werfe ihn also sinnbildlich in die Welt und hoffe, dass er seine Ziele nicht verfehlt und anschließend wieder in die Hände seines Besitzer zurück kehren kann!

MISSION
 This golden Mjölnir should travel in the footsteps of the famous Vikings and visit as many of their places of activity as possible.

 So I throw it symbolically into the world and hope that it does not miss its goals and then can return to the hands of its owner!

 Since the first golden Mjölnir TB8K0EN is unfortunately already lost at its first station, I would like to take a second attempt and hope that it does not end up as a collector's item again.

 So please let it wander from cache to cache and be careful.

We retrieved this trackable in Indiana on our way back from watching the 2024 American solar eclipse 🌙🌞 leaving it here at the Wood Booger TB hotel, a lovely cache in Norton, Va. Hopefully here it has a better chance of being able to complete its mission!

SEE HIGH KNOB
In the area around the High Knob Landform, High Knob(southeast of Grindstone Ridge) is dominant structural feature of the Powell Valley Anticline of the Cumberland Mountain Overthrust Block. With its adjoining faults (Hunter Valley-Clinchport system), this region possesses the greatest concentration of significant caves in Virginia.

The summit of High Knob in particular exerts a significant impact upon the climate of southwestern Virginia and surrounding areas, being one of the rainiest and snowiest locations in both Virginia and the southern Appalachians.

This orographically forced climate has, through the vastness of time, worked in intimate union with the geology and topography to create a richly diverse landscape possessing vast biological diversity.

Just logged a cache that has been lonely for almost a year and a half. Also, I found a trackable that was not only not listed in the cache but, marked missing. I hope the owner enjoys my message. Now...on to the next!!!
