Mr. Buggins has decided it is time for adventure. Starting today, the 18th of March, 2002, Mr. Buggins has set out on his own. His long term goal is to circumnavigate the globe. So, if you are planning to travel soon, go find Mr. Buggins and take him with you!Starting at a point on the extreme west coast of the US, he is ready to go!

About This Item

Mr. Buggin's is located on Coronodo Island, west of San Diego, CA. This is not a cache with any contents, just Mr. Buggins in a small plastic jar with a yellow lid... (don't tell my girlfriend I cleaned out her collection of 10 year old food seasonings).

He is stashed among some rocks, in between the beach and some thick green brush. It should be in a safe place, he won't get washed out to sea and I doubt the random passerby will see him stashed there. But to avoid that, Mr. Buggins is hidden pretty tight in the rocks, so get low and look hard.

You will know you are close because it is directly under the flight path of aircraft landing at the Naval base. So enjoy the views of the ocean, enjoy seeing our hard earned tax dollars at work and please, help get Mr. Buggins around the world!

    Wow, to think my little bug has gone almost 40,000 miles. I peek in once in a while to see what Mr. Buggins is doing. I'd love to see more photos of him with his finders! Looks like he is in Bulgaria now. When I placed him over 5 years ago I figured he'd get picked up and stuck in someone's junk drawer, never did I imagine that this would go so far or so long!

    Retrieved back to Oklahoma from Jamaica. I do believe he liked area but the humidity was too much for him I believe.
