About This Item

whitnallgps 100th find coin

I found my 100th cache and 100th travel bug at the same time on January 11, 2004 at Bryna's Bug Bucket in Wisconsin. My 100th travel bug was Hoosier Daddy. A clever name for a travel bug along with Hoof Hearted (try saying that a few times fast!).I was able to help celebrate this milestone with a few other caching friends. My geocoin began in a cache I began in honor of my 100th.

This was my first official find solo. It was fun for me and I will drop this off soon.

Our contribution to the 100 theme was surviving a camping trip to Mt. St. Helens in 100+ heat. That is not a common occurance in Western Washington.

We'll look for something in line with the theme.

I was determined to find this as it was my 25th cache. I am taking this coin to Maine and leaving it in a cache there. Thanks for my first geocoin find! Lady Bug Lady

No sooner did we pick up the coin than we both got sick - no caching for two weeks. Once we were up and around our DSL went down - another two weeks to get a new modem from our ISP, so no checking for caches on-line. We finally dropped it off in a really nice multi, so it's back on it's way!

The photo was taken next to the 100 mile marker on Interstate 79 north in western Pennsylvania.

Hey cool! Our first look at a Geocoin live and in person. We'll do our very best with it and move it along.
