It tagged another 14er on my 18th annual dayhike of Mt Whitney (sorry, but it's still higher than anything in CO). I came up the trail this year, but had the top alone early before the crowds came up. Cheers.

TB tagged another Sierra Nevada summit.

Handed off. It missed an opportunity for Grays Peak this month, but perhaps Evans or Longs might happen before the snows arrive in the Rockies.

Well, it's with some sadness that I must now pass along this special TB. We've had a lot of good times together. The bug found its way to California, so before heading off to the 14ers of Colorado, it bagged a few admirable peaks west of the Rockies: Mt. Langley (14,042), Mt. San Gorgonio - the highest peak in SoCal (11,490), Iron Mountain (a mere 8,007, but a hike worthy of a 14er), Cucamonga Peak (8,859), Montgomery Peak (13,440), Boundary Peak (13,140), Mt. Agassiz (13,891) and Split Mountain (14,058). I have taken care to pass this along to someone I know is more than capable of helping this bug meets its goals. Boldly go!

Split Mtn 14,051, and a 4 year old unfound cache! WOOHOO! This TB had some decent training this year for big Split. Coin did great, but Split sure kicked my butt. Spectacular views of the sierras.

Getting even higher... 13,893 ft, and getting ready for a 14er soon! Photos of Mt. Agassiz later.

Getting higher! Boundary Peak, at 13,141 ft, is the highest peak in Nevada. But why stop here? Montgomery Peak is just 1.5 miles away and 300 feet higher! So, 14er and I continued on to Montgomery Peak... no geocache, but there was a terracache that we found on the peak.
