Current Goal

I want to visit as many US National Parks and National Monuments as possible! I am in a RACE with other trackables to see who can visit the most Parks and Monuments. Please take me with you on your tour of them, and take and post a pic of me at the entrance sign of each. I would be most grateful!!

 

If you have a party of more than one geocacher, please ask that each geocacher log three logs with this trackable to count in the race. If not, no big deal - the CO enjoys reading all the logs and visiting the National Parks and Monuments vicariously through the travels of this TB!

    We got hungry and forgot to take a picture at the Park Entrance sign. We visited Walnut Canyon National Monument on 2-16-2019.

    Here is GOTurtle4Wheelin’ TB at the National Mall is Washington DC. I didn’t see any entrance sign but the National Mall is in the National Parks Passport so hopefully it counts.

    There is a foot bridge that crosses the Potomac River from Harpers Ferry National Historic Park (which is in West Virginia) to Chesapeake & Ohio (C& O) Canal National Historic Park (which is in Maryland). This foot bridge is also part of the Appalachian National Scenic Trail that goes from Georgia to Maine. Here is a picture to prove we crossed the bridge. Hopefully it’ll count as two more National Parks for you. 👍
