OK - I really tried to find a good cache for this pretty coin with "rose" in the name. But, alas, the only one I could find in my area is disabled and missing. 😟
So, I did the best that I could and brought it to another nearby cache in area loaded with beautiful wild roses. They are done blooming for the year, but I just adore these when in bloom. Legend has it that the wild roses that line our beaches came from old colonial ships passing through the area. They'd carry the rose hips to ward off scabies and some seeds would make it to shore.
