We found this "Red Cross" blood drop trackable in an awesome cache at a library in Bar Harbor, Maine. We vacationed in Jonesport at a beach house & had the opportunity to see whales at the lighthouse in Lubec & seals in several spots including from the deck at the house! We visited Acadia Mountain & stopped at Bar Harbor to explore & fell in love with this small town. Both places are a must see, be sure to plan for at least 1/2 day with all of the sites to see. There were a few caches in the area but we only had time to do one & I'm so glad I chose this one! It was at a library in a bird house with a cool twist...it was a "book" bird house & you had to find the cache according to the title or author. It wasn't a simple "open" we had to figure out how to open it...very creative! We drove this little guy 16 hours back home to a small town in Northeast Ohio. With all the hustle & bustle of getting home, back to work & kids starting school I completely forgot about the trackable until I rediscovered him the other day. I placed him in this "Stark Park" cache in hopes that he will be taken care of, moved on, travel to interesting places & encourage others to donate blood if they are able to.
