About This Item

milestone

This is an Antique Finish 2004 Limited edition (out of 250 made) Geocoin graciously given to me by FSU*noles, an outstanding member of the geocaching community. And as such, I might not want to release it in the wild, for fear of a muggle nabbing or cache destruction.

Another milestone met :) Although I have to go back and figure out my older ones...

Since I had lost track of my numbers, I also lost track of my milestones. I suppose the next few will be at random caches I didn't choose especially for a milestone find.

I had planned on a different cache for this one, but circumstances didn't allow for it. Mainly there were new caches around this event, and I wasn't able to get over to Crosby park because of them, and other caches that my group hadn't found. Oh well.... bummer...

I was just out doing a bunch of park and grabs today, I suppose such an unsignificant milestone close to a significant one is okay to use on a simple Lamp Post Cache...

Yet another King Boreas Milestone event! I have attended all three of his significant milestone events (500, 1,000 and now 1,500 hides). And have kept the tradition of hitting a milestone at each one.

It was raining today, but I needed to get a cache for the day anyway. My roommate told me this one would be good for such a day, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to get it, and mark my 2,700th find. It's also a good way to point out its not always fair weather when you want to go caching.

We were finding so many caches on this MN Tour Crew road trip I was on with Zoejam72 and Accordiongal that I didn't even know I hit a milestone until I got home to log finds. I suppose 6 days on the road hitting a bunch of caches makes the numbers fly by pretty fast though. It was fitting though that I scored the find for this cache on my own, after Jam and Accordiongal had to go back to the cache mobile to get more info on the cache.

At least I got to this milestone a little faster than my last one. I didn't even know I'd attained it at the cache I was at. I guess that's how my caching has been lately though, more relaxed and carefree. Here's to the next 2,500! I think I got a long ways to go...
