About This Item

I'm activating this geocoin in anticipation of finding my 100th geocache, where I plan to release it for its travels. The coin was a gift from FSU*Noles, for getting him hooked on geocaching. It think its only fitting that I'll find my 100th cache with him along.

1973, I finished high school with a diploma, amazing! The whole world was just outside my door, now what? The Corvettes got a cool looking front end, everything else in the Chevrolet lineup got and overdose of big and ugly hanging on a shock absorber front bumper. I had a 73 Nova, extremely good car. Nothing performance wise, but good on fuel, drove nice, looked nice, except for the bumpers.

72, the party was pretty much over, the musclecar era had come crashing to and end, the last year for the cool GTOs. Next year they would become a joke. The Corvettes would have chrome bumpers front and rear for the last time.
