He likes that his (nick)name is "Mud" because it shows he's made some enemies. Plus, he thinks it sounds dirty.
With his peg leg, his hook hand, his eye patch, and his hat sporting a skull-&-crossbones, Captain Maxx is such the embodiment of pirate tropes that his crew call him "Captain Cliché" behind his back. Ah, those pirates are a wry bunch, aren't they?
His parrot has flown off, however, so Maxx is in search of that scurvy bird and, of course, booty. To document his hunt, please post pics whenever Maxx visits a pirate-themed site or geocache. And, when you do, don't forget to log "arrrh" or "matey" or "avast" or the like. Because, well, you know.
