Current Goal

To visit caches in towns with hockey rinks! And to collect shout outs and  logos.  Whatever team it is, minor hockey, Junior, NHL, other pro teams.

About This Item

As I and my caching partner Ravyn7405 are both proud hockey moms, I wanted to release a trackable that honours the great game of hockey.   We have started it off with a couple of key chains, one representing the Newcastle Stars, which both our sons play minor hockey for, and one for the Oshawa Generals, our local Major junior team. 

When you log the trackable, we would love to hear a shout out about which teams you are associated with, whether its your kids or grandkids team, or your favorite local team or pro team.

    I moved this trackable from Türkiye, thought I’d bring it to Sheffield, home of the worlds best hockey team (according to my friend) the Sheffield Steelers.

    My intention was to drop it closer to their home ground and I tried a couple of caches yesterday but they weren’t big enough to hold the trackable. I hope the next cachet to find it can move it a little bit closer.

    Found this today. To be honest I’m definitely not a hockey guy but I do know of a team not too far from my home. I’ll drop the tracks le in a cache near them soon.
