GIFF 2017 Geocoin

To  travel  safely  and hopefully stay  safe for  many caches and miles...  you  may  think  this is a simple mission, but believe me it is not. So many bugs are lost, kept or stolen it makes me think  twice before placing  these days.

This amazing  GIFF coin  was a gift from RVG and I thank him  from  the bottom of my  heart for being  so kind and thoughtful. Plus the coin  comes with  a flat metal  tag  which I will  release and hopefully it will enjoy  a safe future. The original  heavy  and very beautiful  coin  will never leave my  possession, believe me... it is far too  special!

So  to  travel  and remind cachers about the wonderful  GIFF event, which  was an  amazing  event,  even  if the films were pretty  rubbish yet again.

Photos of the tag on it's journey  would be great if you  could add to  your logs.

No  events please though  as far too many bugs and coins have gone to  events and have then  vanished without trace, thanks.

This coin  is launched on  GIFF day 4th of November 2017, and it was so  marvellous to  see everyone enjoying  themselves,  check  it out GC7501C. Despite the films being  rubbish  the food went down  well....

Wow, how to  describe this beautiful  coin... 

Simply amazing, the special  coin  shows an  outline of a reel  to  reel film camera, in  black  and gold.

The actual  coin  will never be  placed as I could not risk it going missing [many have], it is very  tactile and I will  maybe take to be discovered if I attend a meet.

Luckily  it came with  a flat metal  'copy' tag which I will place. This way if the tag  goes AWOL I can  grab  back  and then  just run  with it. It is so  sad how when I started caching I  was very naive and thought bugs and coins were special  to  everyone... how wrong  was I!

This maybe a flat metal  copy  type tag but it is still  very  special  to me, so please keep it safe.
