This happy little fella is Blue Sea Star. His proper name is Linckia laevigata.
He would love to travel around the world - anywhere that has sea nearby.

BLUE IS NOT COLLECTABLE, HE NEEDS TO TRAVEL FROM CACHE TO CACHE SO PLEASE KEEP HIM MOVING.
There are over 2000 species of starfish, or sea stars.They belong to a large group of marine animals called echinoderms. They can be found in all oceans of the world. Largest populations of starfish live in the Indian and Pacific oceans.

They can regenerate their own arms
They have no brain or blood
They have eyes
They are equipped with hundreds of tiny feet at the end of each arm enabling them to move along the sea floor
