This is the 3rd geocache I've found within 50 feet of this hide in the past 6 years. In 2004, I found the Park Springs geocache which was very, very close to this hide. In 2008, I found the Burns Nature Trail cache nearby. When I got here, I remember how rough it was going for the Burns Nature Trail cache taking the high route cuz I ended up having to work my way down the creek bank to get to the cache. I figured maybe this one was similar to it so I followed the creek bed this time. I followed it to the point where the Burns Nature Trail cache was hidden and realized I need to change direction. I figured I've been down this bank before so I should be able to go up it. LOL! I ended up slipping on the way up & smashing my kneecap and shin on big rock but it didn't stop me from getting up the bank. Once I was up there, I found a small trail and followed it to the cache and had to laugh at how easily it would have been had I taken the high route like the cache I found in 2004.
