About This Item

The Bug

The TB was originally called "To Mauritius and Back". The Mission was to travel to any island in the Indian Ocean and back to "After the Flash, the cache". But in 10 months, during which time it was only actually in a cache for 2 days, it went.. er... 10 miles. It was going to Canada... ended up down the road in Cheshire. It was going to Japan to be put in a new cache there... but the cache owner and bug holder messed up the coordinates and archived the cache before it was released!

I have long since forgotten what the key that is attached to the bug is for. The key represents the pointlessness of a TB that never goes anywhere!

As Yasumusa has had this bug a long, long time and has been promising to put it in their cache (which is archived)for a good while without result, I've decided to grab the bug back. The bug will be relaunched with the copy tag and a name that reflects its chequered history to date...

Grabbed the TB this morning. Plan to get it to Canada but may be a few weeks. If not dropped in Canada in 6 weeks will plan to drop it nearer home (Northwich)
