Current Goal

Our current  challenge between the father and two sons' travel bugs will be to see whose travel bug travels to the most  states during 2021.  I was behind in updating my challenge page since I am a pastor and was busy with the Lenten and Easter Season and on top of that were preparing for a move to Florida.  We have just arrived in Florida and as we are settling in before starting a new position, wanted to get this challenge page updated.  It would be great if some cachers who travel a lot could supercharge this late start and perhaps help hit all 50 states even before the year is up so the Patriarch who introduced geocaching to the other two sons who are participating in these challenges  might have a chance to come from behind to win this year's challenge..  We now have 3 generations of geocachers in our family with spouses in the first two generations who are supportive and gaining enthusiasm for geocaching and adventure Labs.  My spouse has also placed a couple of caches in IL and is looking forward to finding a couple of good locations for new caches near our new home in the Villages, Florida.

About This Item

A father and two sons challenge. A few years ago our family was introduced to geocaching. We've enjoyed coming together at holidays and going out for some geocaching fun. During our time out we've found a variety of caches and have fun whether we find caches and get to add a smiley or if we have to log a DNF. Each time out gives us a story to share. This trackable challenge is a way for us to keep the geocaching fun alive between family gatherings.

Our first challenge was to see which trackable travelled the " won the 2020 challenge. Now we'll see whose TB can travel the most states in 2021. We hope to add a new challenge each year that our travel bugs are all still active. Thank you for helping them along the journey and for being a part of our family challenge.
