Gina is currently on an extended world tour, meeting other dogs. Eventually she wants to return to a cache in her home town Roodepoort, South Africa.
Gina is one of our two family dogs.
She is Rough Collie, and the breed originally descended from a localised variety of herding dog in Scotland. Starting out, there were numerous forms of these dogs, but after the industrial
revolution in the late 18th and early 19th centuries dog ownership became very fashionable, and these early collies were crossed with the Borzoi (Russian Wolfhound), to get a more "noble" head, which is today one of the
true characteristics of the rough collie.
Seeing that it is it difficult for both our dogs to travel, we created this TB and let them do a virtual world tour in order to meet your dogs, and then eventually to find their way back to a geocache near our home in Roodepoort, South Africa.
