I want to ride in jet airplanes. Commercial is fine, but a private jet or military plane would be even better.

About This Item

I started my life in Las Vegas, Nevada. Attached to the bug is a swing wing fighter jet. I would like the opportunity to take a ride on a real jet plane.

    Well, I planned to take the bug with me to CA this weekend and leave it in a cache on Friday on my way to a mounted drill team clinic in Clements. The bug has quite a story to tell about that trip!
    We left Sea-Tac at 6:25 AM on Friday--got over Sacramento (my intended destination) and couldn't land because of fog! We flew around and around until the pilot was diverted to Reno to refuel. So we sat in the airport in Reno for three hours while waiting for the fog to lift. Back on the plane and up over Sacramento again! Too much fog! After two more hours, we were informed we were going back to Seattle! Upon landing in Seattle about 6:30 PM, we got seats on a 8:40 flight to Oakland! We finally got there at 10:30 PM! On Sunday, we finally had the chance to drop the bug in the Harmony Grove Church cache. Too bad he won't get credit for all those miles in the air just circling!

    I left it at Let the chips fall cache. In the meantime, it has traveled over 2000 miles (but not by air). It has been to Boise,ID, Bellingham, WA, Seattle, WA (at least 8 times), and other areas around the N.W..

    I was hoping to leave it at one of these distinations, but just ran out of time while at them.
