I’ve spent some extra time in Grafton over last couple of days due to the bushfires closing some of the roads I was planning on using...so a change of plans and I’ll now head down the coast rather than heading inland. Yesterday ( Friday) I headed to Yamba for a day trip and a bit of caching, found there was a street rod rally on there so the pic is of a couple of the hot cars I found on my wanders. Found geocache #1000 while in Yamba and did a little happy dance.

I've spent the last week in Grafton enjoying some of the Jacaranda Festival events. The Jacarandas in full bloom are spectacular. Today I was out and about seeking the caches around town. This cache was on the Grafton Bridge - a unique double deck bascule bridge opened in 1932 with the bascule span (opening) being operational until 1969. Pic shows the bridge spanning the Clarence river.
