This is Annie's new tag. Her Geocaching name is Love.
The tag design is a tribute to her deeply meaningful treks along the Camino de Santiago, lesser known in English as the Way of St. James. The Camino de Santiagos are pilgrimage walking routes from all over Europe that all end in one destination: The Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain. Inside the cathedral is the shrine and burial place of the apostle James the Greater. (Yes, there is a James the Lesser, who really doesn't deserve the bum rap)
The symbol of the Camino de Santiago is a scallop shell, which is also used to mark the pilgrimage routes. Hence, her tag is in the shape of a scallop shell. "Buen Camino" is the greeting pilgrims give to each other, which translates to "Good Path". It is the way they wish each other a good journey, both physical and spiritual.

Annie is also a big Seattle Sounders fan, and proudly displays her Sounders FC scarf wherever her travels take her.
