Current Goal

MICH is one of 3 brothers and 1 sister who want to visit areas around the country that have swamps, lagoons, or just any type of "frog friendly" scenery. They would also like to visit any Anheiser Busch plants, Busch Gardens, or other theme park areas. Their ultimate goal is to see who can make it first to the Everglades in Florida. Once they reach that goal, they just want to travel, travel, travel.

SIBLINGS PREPARE FOR THEIR TRAVELS

MICH (short for Michelob)is one of four siblings to venture out into the world. He has two brothers, BUD and BU, and one sister, ANNIE. They started out as little tadpoles in a puddle in the desert region of Washington State. Needless to say, they long for big areas of water, and are racing to reach the Everglades in Florida. They expect to visit lots of places in between. We hope you will help MICH along on his journey.

Realizing that we had little hope of getting substantively closer to Florida any time soon, we opted for leaving MICH in a cache that overlooks a nice riparian oak-and-willow stream course in the hills above Simi Valley. We were there in the early evening, just before sunset, and we could hear a number of frogs tuning up for their serenade, so we think he'll be happy here 🙂 This cache hasn't had very many Finds, despite being less than half-a-mile from parking, so the odds seem good that someone will come along soon to pick him up, as there are dozens of local cachers who haven't found this cache yet. Ribbet!!

Found this hopper in a cache that's going to get rather warmer over the next few months, so we figured that he might want to get while the getting was good. Not sure how we'll be able to get him moving towards Florida, as the Mojave Desert in Summer can be a tad dry 💀, but we'll see what we can do.
