Congratulations! You found Huey, the DuckTales Trackable!
In a paid partnership with Disney Channel, Geocaching is teaming up with DuckTales to release Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby trackables.
Huey is the oldest of the three nephews (by three seconds), and is often called upon to be “The Responsible One”. He LOVES being a triplet, is the consummate Junior Woodchuck Scout, and often finds himself scrambling to find logical solutions to the completely illogical. Ever the explorer, Huey is always eager to test his mettle and may one day earn his Adventurer’s Merit Badge.
Huey and his brothers, Dewey and Louie, and cousin Webby are in for an epic surprise as they embark on a globe-trotting adventure and treasure hunt. Take this Huey trackable with you from cache to cache and document the adventure with geocache and trackable logs, and then share your latest find on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter using #DuckTalesCache.

The goal of "Disco Duck" is to travel far and wide, and to meet up with other Duck Tales trackables and have his photo taken with them. (There are 5,000 Duck Tales trackables being released, so there are bound to be a few around). :-) In fact, any photo is fun, so feel free to post. :-)
(Be sure to hide the tracking code when taking any pics).
(Also, please don't "collect" this trackable, as that will take it out of circulation and spoil the fun. PLEASE do not take this travel bug unless you'll faithfully log it and take it to another cache. I can't tell you how many trackables I've released which have gone missing or stagnant, often after just being in one cache. Please respect the purpose of travel bugs / trackables. Thank you).
I was selected as one of the random recipients to receive a Duck Tales trackable tag. I must confess: I've never watched Duck Tales (and in fact have never watched anything on the Disney Channel), and know basically nothing about the show/cartoon. (Of course I know who Huey, Dewey, and Louie are from having read Donald Duck comic books as a kid). But any opportunity to get a free trackable is fine with me, and who knows--maybe one day I'll watch the show, LOL.
Continuing my theme of naming most of my trackables after songs, "Disco Duck" is 1976 novelty song released by the DJ/radio personality Rick Dees & His Cast of Idiots. Poking fun at an earlier song called "The Duck" by Jackie Lee, the song became an enormous hit in the "disco era," reaching #1 in the U.S. and Canada and becoming a top ten single in the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Italy, Belgium, The Netherlands, Norway and Sweden. It was also featured in the film "Saturday Night Fever" (but did not appear on the released soundtrack).
