What a beautiful little water hole on a fabulous summer's day like today! A pleasure to find. Spotted some other searchers out and about but we think they missed it coz there was no mention in the log book. Bring a picnic for this one.
Hopefully we can give it a new home somewhere in the beloved Shire this weekend- Stay Tuned!

So TB goes on to a scuba diving trip at Puerto Galera. From Manila it's a two hour bus trip to Batangas Port then a one hour banka (local boat) trip to Sabang Beach, about 800 metres from the cache. The banka's, with their long, thin hulls and bamboo outriggers are used for everything here - from one man fishing to 100+ passenger ferries. In Puerto Galera they are also used for tourist tours (beach hopping, BBQ's, snorkelling etc) and as a scuba diving platform. With over 7000 islands in the Philippines the Filipino people have a deap tradition with the sea.
Now back to Oz....

Dropped off and the "found" Bel's Dream in a nice park in the Makati business district of Manila, Philippines, after some difficulty avoiding a security guard! Security guards are everywhere in Manila, guarding everything from banks to McDonalds stores. Makati is the main business hub of the Philippines with an average income of AU$14,000 PA being more than twice the average income of the Manila Metro area as a whole. One thing you won't see in Makati is tricycles - one of the most popular short distance public transport vehicles in the country, as they are banned from the roads of Makati. The most popular public transport? Jeepneys of course!

Nice spot, Bel has been sleeping with Linda's Sydney Flannel flowers in bloom, with a fantastic view over the lower Blue Mountains. But she looked so sweet I had to take her...and after moving so slowly for the last two years take her to keep the inertia up....

Well this little pink shoe hasn't done much walking for the last couple of years - time to hit the road. We'll drop it off somewhere nice soon.
