Saying good bye to Edgewood Treasure Moose

As of today, May 11, 2007, I do not have a FTF to my credit, but I do have two LTF (last to finds). This moose was found in the GC61C9 CASA RAMONA cache. The cache was located in the woods behind the Casa Romano restaurant. The misspelling of the restaurant's name has been a source of contention for some local cachers.

The land the cache was placed later became posted land. The neighbor and second set of eyes for the property owner gave us permission to remove this cache. My son and I found another cache a few days earlier, GCH4FT Edgewood Treasure, also on land that became posted after the cache placement.

Both of these caches had the same stuffed moose (probably from Disney’s Brother Bear series at the golden arches). Is it a coincidence? Maybe; but we couldn’t resist turning them into travel bugs!

Snagged this to move it along...either back to Maine or perhaps to Connecticut...although the last moose to make it to CT was struck and killed on the Merrit Pkwy near Greenwich...by a woman from New Hampshire, so maybe not Connecticut.
