Oh hey! You found Brett Lego and his best pal, Harold the Yeti! Congratulations on helping these two continue their journey together! Now that they're in your hands, its your responsibility to take them to their new destination! But while you do, you gotta take a photo of the inseparable pair! Anywhere, everywhere! Something beautiful, something strange, something unique! We'll get to that in a little bit. First, some introductions.
Brett Lego
Brett Lego is a big time explorer. He loves seeing new and beautiful things from around the world, which is why he decided to travel from cache to cache to get where he's at today! Some of his favorite things are photography, videography, friendship, movie making, comics and Disney.
Harold Snowman
Harold was a rescue, a pretty easy rescue might I say. Brett lured Harold with his favorite treats, ready for it? Butter... Yes. Butter. Brett tries to keep his butter additiction under control, but its not so easy to keep a giant yeti tamed for long periods of time without food. Harold relies so much on Brett, wherever Brett goes, Harold has gotta go too. They'll forever be lost without one another.
Heres the thing, as you can imagine, Brett and Harold have gotta travel as light as possible. They only have Harold's leash and Brett's hat. The two most important things to them. Which means they don't have a phone to share their adventure with people around the world! So its up to you to make that happen for them! Be expressive, find something fun, unique, beautiful, capture Brett and Harold in that moment and share it online using #BrettAndHaroldAdventures. Friends and family of these two adventurous souls need to know that these two are seeing everything that they may not get to see. Without Geocaching, they wouldn't be able to do this.
So, lets give them the adventure they've always wanted together. Because Adventure Awaits.

Now I can talk like I didn't just entirely make up a story about Brett Lego and Harold the Yeti.
Hi, my name is Sam. I was introduced into geocaching by my uncle a few years ago. I loved what Geocaching was all about and how unique the game truely is. I even love the idea behind trackables. I attempted this with another lego minifig almost 3 years ago and it wasn't successful. And it really bummed me out because the idea behind this Brett Lego means so much to me, deeply. Heres why;
Almost three years ago, I lost one the greatest friends I could have ever had in my life. His name was Brett Usher.
I met him my sophmore year of high school, but didn't create a friendship until our senior year. He invited me and a few of our other friends to Universal for his 18th birthday. From that day on, we built such a fun and memorable friendship. Brett was full of ideas, imagination, movie facts, disney facts, comic facts, etc. And he was always excited to try new things. Nothing ever stopped him from doing so. I don't really think I ever truely deserved a friend like him. He was so patient, kind, confident and would put you first before himself.
The last time I ever saw Brett was in August of 2015. I hadn't seen him for a couple months, but when I saw him that night, it was like we had just saw each other the day before. It was for maybe an hour before he decided to head home. I gave him what would have been the last hug I could ever share with him. 2-3 weeks later, I received a call from my mom. At the time, my mom and I worked in the same office building. When she made that call, she asked me to make my way to her desk. When I got there, her co-workers were standing by her desk, without a smile on their face. My mom stood up from her chair and asked if I can take a look at a photo on the computer screen. It was Brett's license ID photo. I couldn't help but laugh, thinking he did something unimaginable.
He sure did.
My mom scrolled the page up to the news headline... "Young Man is Swept Away in Flash Flood in Forest Falls".
From that moment, everything stopped. I lost someone who ment the world to me. Someone I envyed from the moment I met. Someone I related the most to. He was gone.
It's been three years, I've healed, moved on the best that I could. But not a day goes by where he doesn't cross my mind. I miss him every. single. day.
This Brett Lego, represents my best friend. Harold is his alter goofy ego. Long story short, Brett ran a successful twitter page as Harold the Yeti from Disneyland's the Matterhorn. Even Disney recognized him, which was insane! Friends and Family had created an instagram page for the original Brett Lego. Close friends and family had a little minifig that represented Brett and they shared photos of him wherever they had him. Everyone had stopped sharing photos on the page. But, I really want to continue it. What better way to do that than by Geocaching.
I encourage you to take photos of Brett and Harold together wherever you've found them. And share their photos on social media and of course geocaching. With those photos, I want to share them with Brett's friends and family. I want them to see that everyone is sharing their biggest adventure yet. Be as creative as you can imagine with your photos of Brett and Harold. Take as many as you can possibly create. Share them here on geocaching.com, or, if you're on Instagram or twitter, use the #BrettAndHaroldAdventures.
Thank you for helping Brett and Harold get to their new destination. Adventure Awaits!
