Current Goal

This Travel Bug is dedicated to the memory of my great-Grandfather, who was in the North West Mounted Police, and helped to keep the peace during Louis Riel's second rebellion in the 1880's.
Sgt. Preston's task is to travel across Canada, visiting (and hopefully getting his picture taken at) various RCMP detachment, Provincial Police and Municipal Police departments. He would especially like to visit Depot in Regina, and get his picture taken on the Staff Sergeant Major's desk (now there's a challenge for you young recruits!) One of the other places he would like to visit is Lloydminster, Alberta where the ex-member he is dedicated to settled in the late 1800's/early 1900's.

Grabbed this little guy from the hotel Cranbrook. We are heading home to Medicine Hat AB. Hopefully when we place him in a cache at home someone will pick him up and take him to Lloydminster or someone on their way to Regina.
