About This Item

Basketball Trophy and Tag

From 2000 to 2006, I ran an Intramural Sports Program at the school I teach at. There were occasionally trophies left over from the various teams which won the four sports seasons.

The four seasons were:

Volleyball - Mid September through Mid October
5 on 5 Basketball - Mid October to Late February
3 on 3 Basketball Tournament - March
Flag Football - April through May

The program does not exist in this form anymore. These travel bugs are dedicated to the memory of this program, and the hundreds of students who participated in and benefited from it during those six years.

This trophy is for 3rd place, during the 2002-2003 5-on-5 Basketball season, when the Faculty team (playing as the Faculty Anti-Rust Team... making an acronym for the "Old Farts" that played on it) took 3rd in the overall season.

Just adding a picture. The ribbons and tall trophy are from showing lambs at 4-H and the short trophy is from learning Bible verses at AWANA. All belong to our oldest son (11 years old)
