Kate and her family were left behind when her guardians visited Sweden in June 2007. She now wants to travel home, which is Frenchs Forest, NSW, in Australia. Any uploaded pictures from her travels are appreciated.

About This Item

The koala is a marsupial and has a fine, woolly fur. It is found only in the eastern parts of mainland Australia. The koala is active mainly at night, and can spend 18-20 hours per day asleep up in trees. It eats only certain species of eucalyptus leaves, and can manage almost without any water. It weighs between 7 and 15 kilos.
