The 25 Silver Piece Travel Bug - It loves to be in chest cashes!
We mint our own game coins for our Live Action Roleplay Games of LarpCraft. Thought this would make an interesting travel bug to show some of how game tokens like this work. This is not real silver, it is low melt alloy tin and bismuth, mostly coming from the slag of steel production here in the USA.
We melt the metal, pour it into molds, and then finish the coins by sanding off the edges. Some get plated in gold, some copper, silver is the easiest as it requires no finish.
The designs were made in blender and then printed on a Maker2 3D printer, we then cast masters off of those to form dies with 10-20 coins per mold.
