Current Goal

I am happy to travel around, having been first released on Christmas Day, 2009, My goal is really to travel around and find somewhere nice for Melbermans, Caddy 07 and Daunts to meet up for Christmas each year. I am hoping to have Christmas regularly with them each year. My preferred location for catching up next Christmas will be advised as the year progresses, but if I arrive in somewhere interesting (within Australia) and not too far away or difficult for Christmas, then the families may be interested in going there for next season's festivities. 
(2013 update) Well, Christmas Bear had a relatively quiet year in 2013, so he has been quite happy to be turned loose again in our Christmas Crackers 2013 cache in Melbourne to travel for another year.
At this stage, we would be hoping that he will be returned to a cache around Ballarat for Christmas 2014, as we think that the families will be gathering for Christmas at Gordon, 20 km east of Ballarat.

Nice soft Christmas Bear from the Christmas Tree. This one was made by a member of the family. It can squash up into fairly small places but wouldn't like to get wet.

Time for Christmas Bear to come home! He missed last Christmas with the family, so, after a drive of 8500km so far, we have retrieved him, and will organise to have him with us again at the end of the year.

We are on our way south from Cooktown today, and hope to be in the area in a week or so (early July), to pick up Christmas Bear and head home with him. We would like him to stay in the area for a week or so, so we could finally catch up with him again.
