Our son chose Tasmania as his 3rd grade project. During the research, we learned that our beloved Tasmanian Devil was facing extinction because of the new disease (DFTD) first recognised in 1996 in Tasmania. It is estimated that 40% of the species has been wiped out. Tassie is very important to maintain the nature in Tasmania. Beside Tassie is awfully CUTE! Who would not love its face and shriek? This is the first travel bug for the wrestlingfamily....yahoooooo. We sure did get wet for this one. We were caught in a severe thunderstorm with lighting and all the lighting was very close to us also. We are going to hold on to him and maybe take him to Kentucky since it has not been there. Well we will see we will find a special place for him.
