Deutsch: Wenn Du einen unserer 3.000 »Natursport.Umwelt.Bewusst WoodGeocoins« persönlich von uns geschenkt bekommen hast oder Du eine unserer Holzcoins in einem Geocache gefunden hast, darfst Du sie entweder als Andenken behalten oder auch weiterreisen lassen, indem Du sie einfach in einen anderen Geocache legst. Diese Entscheidung überlassen wir Dir allein!

Woodcoins (or Woodies) are a special kind of trackables and therefore you can only discover them. (All Coins of our series have the same tracking code)

Deutsch: Diese Woodcoin will Dich auf unser Projekt "Natursport.Umwelt.Bewusst" aufmerksam machen.

Das Ziel des Projektes „Natursport.Umwelt.Bewusst“ ist es, die unterschiedlichen Interessen von Natursporttreibenden, Grund- und Waldbesitzenden, Tourismus, Jagd und Forst, Gebietsverwaltungen und dem Natur- und Umweltschutz zu vereinen. Am Beispiel des Geocaching soll gezeigt werden, wie es möglich sein kann, die Ausübenden neuer Natursporttrends für die Bedürfnisse anderer Naturnutzender zu sensibilisieren, und umgekehrt.

Das Projekt wird vom Deutschen Wanderverband durchgeführt und vom Umweltbundesamt und dem Bundesministerium für Umwelt, Naturschutz und nukleare Sicherheit gefördert.

English: This woodcoin wants to raise awareness for our project "Natursport.Umwelt.Bewusst" ("Outdoorsport.Environment.Aware").

The aim of the project is to combine the diverging interests of outdoorsportspeople, land owners, tourism, hunting, forestry, (public) adminstrations and environmental aspects.Using Geocaching as an example we want to show how you can possibly increase the users' awareness for each other's interest and needs.

The project is carried out by the German Ramblers' Association and is sponsored by the German Environment Agency (UBA) and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.
