To set sail from the southern coast of Spain along with two other travel bugs, the Nina and the Santa Maria, and race home to San Diego, California, to be picked up by the owners in a cache named "Land Ho!" as soon as possible. ** IF YOU FIND MORE THAN ONE OF THESE IN A CACHE, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THEM ALL AT ONCE UNLESS YOU INTEND TO PLACE THEM IN DIFFERENT CACHES. The Pinta

The Pinta was one of three ships that set sail from Spain on Columbus' voyage to America. This version, like its counterparts, is a small, laminated card with a ship on one side and the information about its mission on the other.

We retrieved the Pinta from diesel420 this weekend, and it is now home, the official survivor of the race to the New World. Looks like in this recreation, Columbus went down with the Santa Maria and history would be rewritten to make the captain of the Pinta the official discoverer of America. Thanks for your help, fellow geocachers!

We spotted this TB today. We didnt know its destination until we got home. We are going to pick it up tommorow. Ms. chmachin is going to see our daughter next week in San Deigo next weekend via colorado. We will get it to San Deigo definately and if we can make it to its final cache we will put it there.
