The mission of the Traveling Crab is to travel towards the most northern part of European continent: the North Cape (Nordkapp in Norwegian) in Norway.
The Traveling Crab wants a nice picture there to show at home.
After that he wants to get home to the 'Vastenavend Cache' in the Netherlands.
The Crab is the symbol of an event every year around February (when the rest of the world celebrates Carnaval) in Bergen op Zoom (the Netherlands) called: 'Vastenavend'. The people of Bergen op Zoom call themselves 'Krabben' (Crabs in English) those days. Typically, Crabs wear the following items: peasant blouse, red handkerchief around the neck( knot at the front, not at the back!), and a net curtain around the shoulders. This outfit is completed by a hat, decorated with whatever items one likes, such as toys, flowers, pins or other stuff.
This Traveling Crab wants to explore the Northern part of Europe, and after that return safely home...
