Apparently I logged this trackable improperly as it did not show up in my trackable inventory. Neither did I grab it from BigDRacing but found it in the CA cache logged earlier. Anyway it has been placed in another cache and I hope this log will help me get George's record straight so he will have a properly recorded track to once again follow. I trust someone will pick him up again soon and get him on his way again. Safe travels.

We were visiting family in CA and doing some caching when we came upon George the Giraffe. We found him in GC1QZAM which is not where he was listed to be, but did retrieve him and will move him back east. Hope he has a safe trip. Too much time has passed and many difficult situations have happened since George traveled to SC. Its now April, but he'll soon be on the road again.

We discovered this TB in a different cache than currently listed. It was in GC1QZAM, "Great White - Rock N Roll Series" in the San Gorgonio mountains. Our parents, NORSWISS will be taking it back to South Carolina with them (they should be logging the retrieval soon). Very cute giraffe traveler!

George the Giraffe was able to travel 2,694 kilometres with me before being dropped off at the Snohomish Travel Bug Hostel. The photos attached were taken at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle the day before we parted. We spent a wonderful last day there together and we both decided that it is now our favourite zoo EVER! I'll definitely miss George and will be keeping an eye on his travel diary though and hope that he eventually makes it back home again after seeing the world.
