About This Item

Dear Ones TB (traveling part) v2

This is the "traveling" portion of a memorial that we placed to honor our parents: Margery & Frederick. Mom lived to 83 and Dad lived to 92. Such wonderful people. They were wonderful parents. We miss them so.

The "stationary" portion of this memorial is a swinging park bench located in Howard Amon Park in Richland, Washington, USA. ( coordinates N46 16.426 W119 16.210 )  The memorial bench is easy to find if you are ever in Richland. Go to the Community Center in Howard Amon Park in the South East end of town. The bench/swing is located behind the center, on the south edge of the wading pool near the Columbia River biking and walk path. (See the spoiler photos) There is a rectangular plaque there with their names on it and a round travel bug plaque also, with this travel bugs tracking number. Perhaps you will have a chance to visit the bench and enjoy the park one day!

We discovered your TB while attending Tri-Cities Meet & Greet. We were walking around the park figuring out the newly published night cache in the area and one of my daughters noticed the plaque. This is the first "memorial" plaque like this that I have found and I really liked it. Nice way to pay tribute and I know your parents are dearly missed. Thanks for sharing their memory with us.

Wasn't in notes cache. I assume the people that were here before me didn't log it. Hope it turns up!
