About This Item

This is Alley. She wants to travel and to be enjoyed by cachers just like her big cousin Mary Proppins. She's an altimeter from a commercial aircraft and is a little larger than most bugs but will still fit in many caches.

So this seemed like an appropriate place to put Ally Up! Its an old AFB where she can rest and wait for someone else to pick her up and move her on. She's been in my possession for a while and I'm glad to finally have the opportunity to get her back out and on the move. Good luck Ally Up!

Hey guys...completely forget to log the fact we picked this up...here's the story... Funny story... Blureblue, some fellow new cachers and I were in the South Hills/Pittsburgh area for a wedding and to see some good friends. We decide to do some cache's in the Boyce Wetland and found Ally Up! This is the first major TB we found on our own out of our normal area and we thought we would do it good by taking it home with us (4 hours from the P-burgh area). Well in reality we have brought Alley Up! home to Harrisburg area. So it looks like over the last 11 months she has traveled in a nice loop and found her way home. So Bluredblue and I are trying to make great effort to find her a nice new home where she hasn't been and out of the area. On 7/20/08 we tried to place her in Westminster MD near the Carroll County Airport, but the cache's were a hair to small to fit her. So she is still temporarily in our possession until we find a fitting new home for her. I would love to take her on the plane with me to Dallas TX for my Mary Kay conference this week, but I'm not sure how to explain to security why I would have this with me. Hopefully soon we will log her at a new home. Thanks for the TB!
