One of the oldie stashes in Manhattan is “Snug as a Bug in Central Park”, a cache placed 15 years ago in the heart of New York City. This small cache has been around for over 16000 geocaching visitors, some of which thought that placing a TB here would allow it to travel. But it seems novice geocachers also visit it plenty, and they might not know what travebugs/geocoins are. When we visited this cache yesterday, I didn’t realize it, but today Laura said there were an astonishing 18 TBs listed in the inventory of the cache. Unfortunately and to my dismay, when I found the cache, there was no trace of any TB, and this doesn’t seem like a very suitable place to leave a TB.
I am therefor leaving this note here to let the owner and others know that this TB is unfortunately not in the geocache it’s listed in. That’s sad for all parties involved. I do hope the TB turns up, though I think the chances are slim. Either way; hope it can keep traveling..!
