About This Item

"Poppy" tag to commemmorate the brief life of my distant relative: Frank Henry Wigmore. Frank was born in October 1895 in Risca, South Wales. At the outbreak of war, aged just 19 he joined the South Wales Border Regiment. He was killed 13th August 1917 in Ypres, Belgium and is buried in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery near the town.
