About This Item

Baby Dennis

Baby Dennis is not only the name of my first born son, but also a Dhampir; a legendary creature according to Balkan folklore. He is half human by his Dad and half vampire from his Mom (although the combo is usually reversed; not sure if there is a different term for a vampire Mom). He is a character in the animated movie "Hotel Transylvania 2 and 3. 

Romania is not only known for Transylvania, the home of Dracula; it is known for the Carpathian Mountains, medieval fortresses and primeval dense forests and the Black Sea to name a few. 

Dennis got his start at my new Harriman State Park geocache; St. John's Longpath
