I am releasing this geocoin (via proxy) in celebration of my 500th find.  I reached that milestone at geocache GC80R9Y, the New Year's Eve Morning - Thanks 2018! event in San Jose, CA on Monday, December 31, 2018.  I dropped this coin there to begin its journeys.

Please take this geocoin around the world, and post photos of it!  It would particularly love to spend time traveling around Britain and Ireland.

Held onto this proxy coin, that wants to travel to Ireland, so I could put some miles on it and drop it near my old beautiful burg of Cambria on California's Central Coast.

Cambria is a popular destination for many European travelers and with a little Irish luck, maybe the next geocacher to retrieve this celebratory trackable can help with its goal and will be heading across the pond.

Also found it fitting to place this 500 Finds Geocoin in a challenge cache I qualified for by finding 500 regular-sized hides and with view reminiscent of the Emerald Isle... Thanks again robingriffith!
