About This Item

This travel bug is in memory of my parents, Dr. Joe Davis and Dorothy Dean Marsh Davis,  who were both professors at Judson College in Marion, Alabama. Dad taught Spainsh and Mom taught Drama. She had a great reputation for directing many fine plays and musicals at Judson. She also helped to start the first Head Start in Marion in the early 6o's. Dad started and presented opportunities for his students to go abroad and study Spanish in Spain, France, and Mexico in a time when this was not done. In their free time, they enjoyed traveling, living with their cats, and participating in the world of fine and performing arts. Since my mom grew up in Illinois, they are buired in Weldon, Illinois.
