This bugs mission is to visit the beauty of nature, where ever that might lead.
Jason, lover of natures beauty, had his life cut short
in June of 2003. Visiting many beautiful places were in
his plans.
Not being able to venture far from his Santa Cruz, CA.
home, Jasons memory will travel with this travel bug to the many
beautiful places he dreamed of visiting. Wilderness and
natural areas being his favorite.
Hopefully you can take a digital photo of the bug in the
places you visit and add them to the bugs site, before
recaching it.
The silver dollar represents the year he died. I gave him
one every birthday. He didn't make it to his 25th birthday 2003.
This dollar was to be given to him. But now is a traveling
remembrance.
Im starting Jasons bug in Northern Utah where he was born. Hopefully it will
see many new places, as well as his favorites in California.
Have a nice trip Jason...Forever 24... your dad

This is the second memorial TB our family has found. Our first was Mike's Memorial celebrating the life of a young man whose life was cut short after a tragic collision in a cattle free range area. We will take Jason along and hopefully find some appropriate sites to photograph with him before sending him on his way for other cachers to share.

Found this in a very fitting cache overlooking the Pacific at the end of a beautiful sunset. I have seen this TB before, although I can't recall where (I even read through all the TB logs to see if I had it before). What a touching momento! I'll get this moving soon!

Jason's TB was part of a wonderful party at the beach. I walked by and admired the TB. I'm glad I did. We walked on the beach to a cache then returned to Phil's Fish House for dinner. There was laughter and good fellowship. Jason was there when the sunset and set the sky afire. I'm so sorry for your loss.

With my digital camera out of action and no immediate plans to buy a replacement, I decided to let Jason travel with someone else.
I will add Jason to my watch list and I may pick the TB up again later. Take care. Bud 50sumtin
