Kloster Haydau Geocoin

Travel to caches near monasteries, churches, synagogues, mosques and other religious institutions. I think the mission makes sense for a geocoin called "Monastery Haydau".

We start with the Monastery Beuron - about 25km from the starting point in Tuttlingen away. I'll probably do that myself. After that the world is open to you! Maybe it also goes to the Monastery Haydau someday? I am grateful for one or the other photo of the buildings you visit on your mission. Have a good trip!

 Reise zu Caches in der Nähe von Klostern, Kirchen, Synagogen, Moscheen und anderen religiösen Einrichtungen. Ich denke die Mission macht Sinn für einen Geocoin mit dem Namen "Kloster Haydau".

Wir fangen mit dem Kloster Beuron an - etwa 25km vom Startpunkt in Tuttlingen entfernt. Das werde ich vermutlich noch selber erledigen. Danach steht dir die Welt offen!  Der Herausgeber des Geocoin hat im Kloster Haydau und der näheren Umgebung mehrere schöne, interessante Caches gelegt. Sie bieten die Möglichkeit an einem Tag 7 verschiedene Cachetypen zu finden: Earthcache, Mysterycache, (zwei) Multicaches, Letterbox, Reverse-Wherigo-Cache und einen Traditional Cache. 4 von 7 habe ich schon, freue mich auf die anderen 3.

Inzw. gibt es auch noch einen ALC mit 5 Stationen.

 The publisher of this geocoin has placed several nice and interesting caches in the Haydau Monastery and the surrounding area. They offer the possibility to find 7 different types of geocaches in one day: Earthcache, Mysterycache, (two) Multicaches, Letterbox, Reverse Wherigo Cache and a Traditional Cache. I found 4 of 7 so far, I am looking forward to finding the remaing 3.

By now there is also an ALC with five stations.

 Das Kloster Haydau wurde im Jahre 1234/35 von den Zisterzienserinnen gegründet und hat seitdem eine wechselvolle Geschichte hinter sich: Kloster, Dorfschule, Schloss, landwirtschaftliche Domäne, Gefängnis, Behelfswohnungen, Industrieanlage, Tagungszentrum – die Gebäude, die sich um den großen Domänenhof gruppieren blicken auf eine wechselhafte Nutzung zurück. In den Jahren von 1985 bis 2001 wurde das Kloster aufwändig restauriert und erstrahlt heute wieder in altem Glanz und wird u. a. als Tagungszentrum genutzt. Um die Tagungsgäste zu beherbergen wurde zu Beginn des 21. Jahrhunderts ein großes Hotel errichtet.

The Haydau Monastery was founded in 1234/35 by Cistercian nuns and has since experienced a varied history: monastery, village school, palace, agricultural state property, prison, makeshift dwelling, industrial site, convention centre – the buildings grouped around the large Domänenhof court look back at various uses. From 1985 to 2001, the monastery had been laboriously restored and, today, it shines in new splendour being used as a convention centre. A big hotel was constructed at the beginning of the 21st century in order to host the participants of the conventions.
