Leipe Smurf wil de wereld zien. Hij wil zoveel mogelijk plekken bezoeken en wil zoveel mogelijk mensen ontmoeten. En na zijn wereldreis, waarbij het liefste alle continenten wil bezoeken, wil hij uiteindelijk terug naar zijn thuis in Amsterdam.

Leipe Smurf wants to travel the world. He wants to see as many places as possible and wants to meet as many people as possible. After travelling the world, where he would love to visit all continents, hè eventually wants to return to his home in Amsterdam.

De Leipe Smurf is al heel wat jaren een goede vriend van ons. Nou, we hebben hem zelfs min of meer geadopteerd nadat hij Smurfendorp verliet op zeer jonge leeftijd. Hij wilde gewoon reizen. En Grote Smurf vroeg ons of hij een tijdje bij ons mocht blijven. We zeiden dat dat natuurlijk geen enkel probleem was en dus kwam hij naar Amsterdam en de eerste paar jaar wilde hij helemaal niet weg uit (en ik quote hier Leipe Smurf) "de mooiste stad ter wereld".

Dit jaar ging hij met ons mee op vakantie naar de Costa Brava in Spanje. Hij vond het hier ook prachtig, maar bedacht dat er nog veel meer mooie plaatsen in de wereld zouden moeten zijn. Dus hij besloot dat hij de wereld wilde zien. Dus met tranen in onze ogen kwamen we overeen dat hij hier zijn reis rond de wereld zou starten.

Mocht je hem vinden op zijn reis rond de wereld verwelkom hem dan nbij je thuis en stuur ons een foto van zijn verblijfplaats zodat we ons geen zorgen maken en zodat we kunnen zien waar hij zich bevindt. Enne... "Leipe" is natuurlijk Amsterdams voor "maf", dus weet dat Leipe Smurf van gekkigheid houdt. Hou jij daar op van... laat Leipe Smurf dan meedoen!

The Leipe Smurf has been a close personal friend of ours for many years. Well, we basically adopted him after he left Smurf Village on a very early age. He just wanted to travel. And Papa Smurf called us and asked us if he could stay with us for a while. We told him that ofcourse that would be possible so he came to Amsterdam and for the first couple of years never wanted to leave the (and I quote Leipe Smurf) "most beautiful city in the world".

This year he went on holliday with us to the Costa Brava in Spain. He loved it here as well, and felt that there had to be more beautifull places in the world. So he decided that he wanted to see the world. So with tears in our eyes we agreed that he would start his journey around the world at the Costa Brava in Spain.

If you find him on his travels please welcome him into your home and send us a picture of his whereabouts so that we will not have to worry and can see for ourselves the places our dear friend visits. Just know that "Leipe" is Dutch for crazy, meaning Leipe Smurf loves crazy stuff. If you do as well... don't forget to let Leipe Smurf join you!
