    Happy Easter! Discovered while on a whirlwind trip with our GeoKid and GeoPup. The trip was a circuitous route from our home just outside of Dallas, TX down to the coast near Houston and back. We had a wonderful time driving around the state, geocaching, and camping for Easter weekend. In total, we found 37 new Texas counties, 2 new Louisiana parishes, and 16 Texas DeLorme map pages (8th edition).

    Our trip was full of fun and adventure during this period of Covid-19 sadness and uncertainty. There were a few bumps along the way… However, there was nothing a shovel, some tow straps, a winch, a Texas Game Warden, 2 friendly hunters, 2 side-by-sides, a 4WD truck, a cell signal, a stressed-out driver, and some persistence couldn’t overcome!
