The VGC 2006 Geocoin - Wilg edition is the personal geocoin of the geocacher Wilg and one of twelve different geocoins minted during a collective project called "Vereenigde Geocoins Compagnie" (VGC) led by KarelKraak. In total two different finishings of this coin were produced: antique silver and black nickel.
All geocoins designed during the VGC 2006 project shares the same icon, prefix and design for the backside of the coins, while the front was designed by the teams themselves. The backside of the geocoin shows the letters VGC in front and the Dutch flag colors in the background. VGC are respecting the VOC, a trading company from earlier days. The backside is framed by a blue border with the text 'Vereenigde Geocoins Compagnie' and 'De Iurie Predea'. It is the latin title of a book by Hugo de Groot about the right of booty.

I have visited the geocoinfest 2015 in Eindhoven together with Hoentjes. We have had an amazing day. We really enjoyed the beautiful geocoincollections of the diverse collectors. I had a lot of work to discover all these coins and tb's. The result was that we could discover a challenge in our neighbourhood. Now we have even more coins to collect! Wow!! And thank you fot sharing!

Deze trackables gezien op het GeoCoinfest. Ik heb daar in de middag als vrijwilliger op het event gewerkt (achter de bar). Wat een feest! Veel mensen ontmoet en leuke weetjes uitgewisseld over diverse caches, En uiteraard heeeel veel TB's gespot.

Op het Geocoinfest 2015 in Eindhoven kon ik de Dutch Geocoin Collectie van Geo-Dragonchild bewonderen.
Leuk om te zien dat er ook nog coins van mijn hand bij zaten (de SAKE coins).
